Our third task was to create a fashion line up, inspiring ourselves with the WGSN site. Below are the pictures which inspired me to create this collection:

Here's a professional line up from the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2012 - Designer Dossier: Sun Young Youn. This collection inspired me by its simplicity and sophistication. I like the simple and subtle colours and the patterns. The way all figures are the same has an appeal to me as well - it shows that even the simple designs are beautiful.
Here are the photographs that struck me right away as my inspiration, it is collection made by Brandon Maxwell. I liked the simplicity of the design but at the same time the beauty of them. The colours could be more bright but the collection itself is very inspiring:

After I scanned the designs onto the computer, I opened them in Adobe Illustrator. I traced them and found the most appropriate boldness of the outlines for me. Then I copied the picture and pasted it onto the Adobe Photoshop - where I created an A4 landscape page. Here are some of the screenshots explaining what I did next:
First screenshot shows that I've clicked on to the 'magic wand tool' to select the layers I wanted coloured:
My second screenshot shows that I have selected the layers I wanted coloured. It also shows that I've clicked onto the half-coloured circle at the bottom of the layer box and picked the 'solid colour' option:

My forth screenshot shows that I've inserted my background - I clicked on 'file' and then 'place embedded', then I've picked the background I wanted and fitted it onto the page:
And my last screenshot shows that I've entered the text for my title and my annotations to the design. I've entered it about the same time I added the background:
This is my final collection - I decided to add some colour to it as to me Maxwell's collection was lacking it:
Critique:
- I like the whole outlook of the collection and the poster, but I would change the font next time.
- The background is looking very good, but next time I would change it to something more delicate.
- I like the designs I've drawn, but I had a little bit of problem with adding colour to them.
- Overall, I really like this outcome and I enjoyed making it.
